The debate on conscientious objection and the problems in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war
Mikhail Elizbarashvili from Church and Peace member ‘Friends World Committee for Consultation, Europe & Middle East Section’ (FWCC/EMES) will report from Georgia and translate the testimonies of two conscientious objectors. In addition, Jürgen Menzel from the Working Group on Peace Education (AfpB) will give a presentation.
In many European countries the right to conscientious objection is being increasingly eroded. That is why we are giving you the opportunity to exchange ideas and to network during this evening event.
