The Peacewalk is a collective pilgrimage for peace—a journey across Europe to Al-Quds/Jerusalem along the JERUSALEM WAY, the world’s longest peace trail. 🕊️
In a time of deep division and conflict, the Peacewalk brings people together across cultures, religions, and nations to walk side by side. It is both a symbolic and a practical gesture: an opportunity to embody peace, to learn from those who are building it on the ground, and to support initiatives that keep hope alive.
The Peacewalk is more than a physical journey; it is a peace school, a travelling festival and a fundraising campaign.
Rike Flämig and Jule Langmeier, who previously worked at our member organisation Refo Moabit, are participating in the Peacewalk. On June 7, the participants also stopped by to visit Christiane Vollprecht in Herrnhut, the site of our 2025 European Conference. Rike writes: “It’s truly wonderful to see both the Europe-wide and local connections.”
We’re delighted that our conference also helped foster connections between the Peacewalk and the participants of our conference in Herrnhut.
